RC-1 BOOST with Resilient Channel vs RSIC/Genie Clips

Hey everyone. Doing research on studio build wall assembly I came across RC-1 BOOST rubber clip that is used with resilient channel for decoupling. Anyone has experience using this system and how does it perform vs RSIC-1 or genie clip? It seems to have a very similar decoupling to rsic/genie clips and costs $0.82 rubber clip.. very appealing since its more the 4 times less expensive.

I know that you have to be very careful when installing resilient channel, not to short out the system. This clip looks to make the install a bit easier as it ads additional spacing" between RC and drywall.

Thanks for your help!

It looks like a crappy design to me. Personally I wouldn't use them but that's just me.
