Here's one on low-frequency absorbers, including a final design that looks easy to build:

What is there to say? It is the most tested with readily available test data, and enough additional inofrmation that you can make minor changes and still have a good idea of the performance. There is a fairly long thread about it on RO,

if you want heavy discussion of the report. The report has some questions about it, but as an in depth study of LF absorbers, and 1992-11 for higher frequency absorbers, they can't be beat.

So, you're saying I could do worse than to base my own portable treatment designs on the BBC papers?
It seems the BBC has done a lot of work on how to make effective portable acoustic treatments, and that they deserve attention. Why reinvent the wheel, right?
