Framing for Mineral Wool

Hi, I’m framing some interior walls to hold either oc703 or mineral wool, both of which are 24” wide. Standard stud spacing, of course, is 16 or 24” oc, so either way I’d have to cut down the batts. I’m not supporting weight other than the drywall, and header is secured to the ceiling, is there any reason not to just frame with 24 3/4” oc spacing, so 24”w panels just go right in?

The drywall won't fit!
Drywall panels are 48" wide, so they span across either three 16" OC studs, or two 24" OC studs.... and you would be trying to nail them to studs that are spaced 49 1/2".... you would have noting to nail them too...
Apart from that, it's a standard. I doubt if your inspector would pass your framing if the studs are spaced wider than standard....
