Studiobricks worth the price?

Hi,
I am looking into a booth for my studio. I barely record vocals. I am putting the studio in my garage. I will get one that is 19'x10'. I mix on 8" focal alphas, and do edm and HipHop. I know these booths are not sound proof. but being in the garage plus being in the booth. Will this be good enough so the bass is not blasting though my house. I have a young child and my wife does not want to hear 4 on the floor for hours plus neighbors. The size of the room is extremely expensive and there are none in LA that I know of to see. The ceiling are low on these booths. Does it feel like a coffin?

Whisper Kim and vocal booth quoted me prices depending on options between $23,000-$26,000

Do you think it is worth the money.

Thanks

Whisper Rooms are basically plywood lined with foam - and they sound like it, too. If you need a small booth fast, then I can maybe see getting one, but for something your size... holy jeez. You could probably build out the whole room for what they're charging, especially if you keep it simple and are willing to DIY some of it.

The reasons I would like the size is I have TV Producers or A&R and artist and managers come to my studio now. I would rather have it smaller and so big taking up so much space in my garage. 2. I thought if it is square or small that mixing would be not accurate. I thought the rule of thumb was to not have any wall shorter then 14 feet. I produce edm, trap, hip hop etc. I thought you had to have a long length for 20 - 125hrz I have a lot of GIK acoustic traps and panels already

Big is great - but it's kind of silly to pay that much for what's going to be an ugly, boxy-sounding room. If you're going to spend that much, I'd either build out your room correctly (and attractively), or rent space in another studio.
