Hi guys

I am going to be building some absorbers and bass traps in the next couple of months. The question I have is about mounting them. I live in rented accommodation so I can't really drill holes in all the walls or anything. I will probably be in this house for at least the next couple of years which is why I would like to treat the room.

Any suggestions on how I can secure them to the wall without actually damaging the wall itself?

Your superchunks can be free-standing, and you could build your first reflection point panels like gobo's, on stands or wheels. That would need no drilling at all. Maybe weigh down the bottom of the superchunks with sandbags or something else heavy like that, so the don't tip over.

But check your rental contract: it might allow you to drill holes for things like hanging pictures or ornaments, as long as you fill them and paint over when you leave...
