Listening/Mastering Room

Hello,
I don't know if i post in the right forum.
I would like to arrange a room in a small mastering studio.

I will make measures with Room eq wizard but i would first having advices about my plans.

Where can i place speakers and listening point to have minimum resonances problems?
Have you another advices?
After, i will can making measures and thinking about acoustic treatment.

That's a rather complicated shape for a control room. Not very good acoustically. Your only real option to make it usable is to set up the room facing away from the door: the wall on the opposite side from the door should be the front wall, where the speakers are.

Your diagram does not show how wide the room is, so I can't tell you where to put the speakers, but I would expect that they should go roughly underneath the points where the flat section of the ceiling starts angling down.

The mix position (your head) should be about 140 cm from the front wall, and the speakers should be aimed at a point about 180 cm from the front wall (about 40cm behind your head).

Without more information, that's about the best I can suggest.

Then your speakers need to be positioned about 130 cm from the side walls, which means that they will be 203 cm apart. I'm talking about the position of the acoustic axis (acoustic center) of the speaker, not the sides of the speaker cabinet.

How much distance between speakers and front wall?

They must be 10cm from the front wall: Just enough space to put in a panel of porous insulation, such as OC-703, or something similar.

What another information can i say you?

The mix position (location of your head) will need to be on the room center-line at 140 cm from the front wall, and the speakers will need to be aimed at a point on the room center-line at 170 cm from the front wall (in other words, 30cm behind your head). The speakers must be set up such that the height of the acoustic axis is about 125 cm above the floor.
