Can I use electrical conduits?

Hi all,

Can I use electrical conduits in my studio while the electric panel is in a different room (cave)?
Could this compromise the sonic isolation in any way (or the box in the box system)?

Yes you sure can use conduit! In fact, it's the best way to get your wiring through. But as you guessed, you do need to seal it: After you have pulled the wiring through, stuff insulation down each end of the conduit a couple of inches, then seal the end with abundant caulk.
