Moving into a new place and I want to have a room dedicated to a studio for acoustics, I have a walk-in closet in my room, I wanted to turn into a little "studio". It would only be a computer, monitors, and a little 25 key MIDI. The room is 6.5' x 5.5' (small, I know). Asking for opinions on if I should do it or not. A few of my friends said it was too small but what I read so far is that it would fine. I'm far from professional or anything so it doesn't need to be acoustically perfect but decent enough. Not your typical post or anything and I'm sorry for that. The room is like perfectly rectangle, no weird curves or anything.
Thanks in advanced!
Is this too small of a room for a studio?

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things!
Small rooms need a LOT of treatment. The smaller they are, the more treatment they need. By the time you put treatment in that room, there'd be practically no place left for you or your gear!
That said, if this is the ONLY option that you have, then it's better than nothing at all, but I would really, strongly suggest looking for another location where you'd have enough space to do it right.
It would probably be better to set up your bedroom itself as a studio, rather than try to use the closet inside the bedroom.

Very small! That's only 36 ft2. Studio specs call for a minimum of 215 ft2 of floor area for a "critical listening room, so you'd be at about 17% of the smallest recommended size. The room is 6.5' x 5.5' (small, I know).
