Im in the process of building a home studio in a garage 18x17x8 i blocked off the garage wall double sheet rocked it and insulated it,

i have also built a vocal booth same way 5.5x 5.5x8 and was wondering what do you guys suggest i do as to layout? i know my vocal dimensions aren't good and i was think about knocking down a wall and leaving the 5.5 wall and record vocals in that corner kinda like a gobo vocal booth i attached a picture any help helps. As for loudness i can be as loud as i want i also plan on adding hardwood floor

It seems that you are asking for someone to do the entire design of your complete studio for you for free! That's not what this forum is about. The forum is a self-help resource, where you have to do most of the work yourself, and folks here will help you out for free when you get stuck, or if you have a specific question, or if you seem to have made a mistake in your design. But nobody here is going to spend the hundreds of hours that it takes to design a complete studio, for free. That's a lot of work!

People here will help you for free, certainly, but they won't do all of the work for you for nothing! Your have to do most of it yourself, and just ask for help when you have a problem.

If you prefer to pay someone to design your entire studio for you, then there are several people here who can do that for you. People such as John, Glenn, Rod, Andre, myself and others can do that, if that's what you want, so feel free to e-mail or PM one of us and ask for a quote.

Or if you don't want to pay, then you can do what most of the other forum members do here: post all of the information that we ask for in the forum rules, then do some research using the vast amount of information available for free on the forum, then do a rough design of how you think you want your studio, and ask for comments on ways of improving that. Or if you find something that you don't understand while you are researching, then ask a question about that and people here will certainly answer your questions, no problem. That's what we do best, I think!

You have already done things that you should not have done if you wanted good isolation, and the dimensions you mention for the booth are about the worst possible.
