hi.

I have some baffles that "i think" is built to screen of sound in an office or
industrial enviroment.
they are made off a steele frame with some soft material inside.
i noticed when i dissambled the " baffle" its a wooden frame with a soft medium soft material inside.
I was wondering if i monted this to the wall with a wooden frame behind it
"so i get a air cavity" can i use it as acoustic treatment.

Yes, probably. But it depends on what's inside them. Also, unless they're very thick, you probably won't get much improvement at the lowest frequencies.

I've used some at my old house. Depending on your application, yes they work fine. I see them used in several studios for isolation or separation in a large room. I also used them in a hallway just to absorb the nasty reflections. Worked fine for what I used them for.
