hello john,

congratulations with this beautiful site. and that goes for the design also. very tasteful!
as home-recording guitarist i'd like to know if it's possible to use my (little; ca. 6x2.5 meters!) 1st floor-room as my home-studio, but i'll do that in another thread - or maybe this one!

great site, i'll be back!
cheers!

Hey I'm here too 8) John thanks for making this happen, you have no idea how your stuff has helped me so far in understanding studio design and construction. This site is an unvaluable tool for the newcomers, wether we look for help, ideas or comfort (and you guys know the immensity of the task calls for a good dose of comfort sometimes!).
Keep groovin'!

"all we need now is Steve " -

Ask, and the dumb shit finally finds ye...

Just found this kinda by accident, looks really good John - I've really appreciated all the practical "actually done it" stuff I've learned from you so far, plannin' on hangin' out here regular-like. I'm hoping to pick at least two brains I've seen so far, yours and Thomas Barefoot's -

Who knows, maybe by the time I get to break ground I'll actually know enough to know I know nuttin...

Again, congrats on an excellent new (old) resource... Steve

welcome Steve - Thomas and I are handling it all by ourselves so your input in answering questions (which you do very well) will be appreciated.

Thank you Stefan - what actually happened was my dear old ISP sent me notification that my home page had been changed. Just take out the ~ she said and it'll work!!!

So if you go to the old site address and remove the ~ it'll work!! you get a redirection to this site anyway :)

cheers

chateaux cardboard is what we refer to as wine sold in a cardboard cask. You buy it in 4 litre boxes.

Hi John,

I felt it was impolite to lurk but so long, so I thought I'd sign up and say hello. It really is a beautiful website you've got. Best of luck with everything!
