Hi Folks,
Here's the design for my new studio in dublin Ireland. Control room is situated on the far left, with a booth. Main entrance is through the triangular structure, with doors leading into the control room and live room a. Double doors in live room a. Adjoing wall between live room a and live room b (angled room at right of drawing) connect through a 2m62 gap. The Walls separating Live room a and b are supporting walls and are made of old black stone..Height is 3700mm
(Apologies about the drawing..still trying to get used to sketchup...)

Re: New Irish Studio Design_Build Diary
I did!! Sorry about that!
Here it is..
Live room a (closest to control room) will be surfaced with wood, while ive room b will be left concrete and stone.
The dividing wall between live room a and b is a supporting stone wall.
I have some photos of the framing, but nothing too exciting yet!!
Any thoughts anyone?
Les

Re: New Irish Studio Design_Build Diary
Heres 2 photos of where we are after week 2 of the build..
We've started in the control room and live room a..and we'll get to liver room b after we get the ceiling sorted in this room..
So..control room space is over to the left..and live room a, is on the right...
(The first photo features the foreman of the project..so far, he assures me, its looking ok...as long as we have the shiny wooden floor that he can slide across on his belly! ) Les
