One Question About Odd Shaped Layout
Posted: Sat Aug 09, 2014 10:28 am
Hello to everyone. For the record I've read the mandatory rules on submitting a post and have also unsuccessfully searched for information on "odd shaped room layouts" to answer my question.
My budget for re-establishing my home studio after a move was devoured after dealing with a leaky basement. I still have acoustic treatments from my "old studio" that I intend to utilize in the new place but that is not what I'm posting about.
Due to the cost of repairs of the water problem I'm leaving the existing walls and basement layout "as is". Nothing I can do about it without the funds. I still would like to "re-build" my home studio however. Basically this is a hobby for me.
Please see the attached file of the existing layout:
My question is, given the space as it exists, is it better to place the mix position along wall "A" or along wall "B"??
Thanks for any info.
