Ok here I go tell me if I'm on the right track. (I've posted a picture of studio layout)
For Each wall, in the studio, I plan on using a one leaf system.
Leafs will be comprised of two designs for adjacent walls.
1. 2- 5/8 drywall >< RC channel ><2x4 wood studs 16in o.c.><2.5 to 3 pdf fibergalss insulation
2. 5/8 drywall><1/2 drywall><5/8drywall><2x4 wood studs 16 in o.c.><2.5 to 3 pdf insulation
wall studs for adjacent walls will be staggered.
Floor will be built as such.
1/2 neoprene pucks><2x4 floor joicing><2.5 to 3 pdf insulation><2-5/8 plywood
Ceilings will be built as such.
2-5/8 drywall><rc channel><2.5 to 3 pdf insulation><2x6 beams
Walls will rest on the floated floor, ceiling will rest on the walls.
Which will each be seperated by sometype of rubber stripping.
And I plan on buying a ton of Acoustic caulk.
For power we will use a star sytem to route the outlets,
as well as having lighting on a seperate breaker.
HVAC will be located upstairs. Big tubes, no adjacent connections
and big boxes to displace the flow of air will be used.
Any feedback to what I may be missing, or what looks wrong would
be greatly appretiated.
total space is 37'2"x47'
