Yes, a few days ago i asked some one about a good sound deading materail and they told me t get rigid fiberclass or rockwool, well all i have been about to find was 2 x 2 rockwool cubes. Would this do the same thing

Not sure without seeing some specifications - are these 2 feet square? If so, how thick? "cube" implies that all three sides are equal.
