Seeking recommendations for RTA software that will run on Snow Leopard and reasonably priced ref mic.
Thanks

Re: RTA for Mac
Glenn,
I downloaded the Voxengo SA. Nice. I have the FXpansion wrapper so I can unwrap most any VST plugin and run it with my Pro Tools rig.
I plan on obtaining the ref mic. Are there any stickies or links on the forum with a how to on tuning a room? I'm running Yamaha HS80Ms and plan to get their HS10W sub. I want to tune the room when I get the sub installed. I've got corner traps at all four corners: 6" depth of OC703 floor to ceiling spaced away from the corners a bit, several broadband absorbers on the walls, and ceiling clouds over the mix position and drum kit.
BTW I see from your profile that you are not far from my old neighborhood. I use to live in Westchester County, NY and had friends and relatives in North Jersey. Nice area.

Gearslutz has a very good tutorial on acoustic analytics using the REW tool. Some of what you're looking to do can be done with SPAN.
