I manage my son and up and coming music producer and just started a new job with a Data Center. We've been in plenty of studios in our day but never thought to ask them how they store session files. I asked a few studios that exact questions shortly sfter starting to work here and was a little suprised that although there has been substantial investment in recording/mastering equipment, data backup was not as updated.

Me and my developers are working on a remote backup product specifically designed for recording studios. DVDs get scratched or lost, fires do happen, disgruntled employees can put you out of business. we'd like your feedback as to how you backup data today and what would make your life easier.
