Manville Insulation Products, what to use?

Most of the local contactors i've contacted in search for 703 don't carry OC products. They do carry Manville products though.
I've spent some time on their site finding out what the best material to use is.
They have semi-rigid (microlite) and fully rigid (spinglass). Each product comes in different density from 2 to 6 pcf.
Is a higher pcf always better for accoustics?
Semi Rigid, or fully rigid....witch one? How do they behave differently?
My Use:
Corner Bass Traps
Absorbtion pannels for the back wall of the control room (to kill early reflections)
