Writing an acoustic research paper on a studio... need help.

Hi, John and forum,

I wanted to know if you can maybe help out a few mates and I.

For our acoustics class, we have to write a 3.5 to 4-page paper on a studio or live venue of our choice.
We must write about things like acoustic treatment, isolation between rooms,
acoustic seperation within a room (if we choose a recording studio), the use of symmetry/asymmetry in a room, noise reduction (machine room),
etc

Are there any good resources, links, etc., to where I could find sufficient information on a particular studio/venue?

It'd really help us out a lot. We've been looking around and found some stuff here and there,
but nothing that could suffice a 3.5 to 4-page paper.
Thought maybe you'd know some places to look.

Thanks again, John.
Hope all is well.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

_Chris

P.S.
We must also turn in a drawn design of the studio/venue, so any resource(s) that include images would really help.

thanks so much for the quick reply John :D

i actually checked out that page earlier and it's great,
but... our paper wants us to talk about a specific studio/venue.
we pretty much have to pick one and write about it.

some friends and i are finding bits of info on specific studios/venues, but nothing so far that can suffice a research paper.

the studio/venue doesn't have to be professional, but it can be.
we just have to have enough info on it to make a presentation and write at least 3 pages about it =)

do you happen to know of a link, youtube video, etc. to a studio/venue that has a good amount of this type of info?

thanks John,
and i do really appreciate that quick response.

p.s.
i came to http://www.lis.net.au/~johnsay/Pages/Studios.htm which was on your "Studio Plans" section,
and it is not going to the page it suppose to.

Try now Chris - It's an old site from back in the 90s so it's probably got some glitches.

First, you should establish your research topic. Then you search for source and information. Write down main points on a paper and then assemble the related research under each. Prepare an outline of the main points. Then arrange them in a specific order. Then prepare the first draft. After that use footnotes or endnotes to document source then prepare a bibliography. Completing bibliography revise the first draft and proofread the final draft.
And you can place an order for SPAM at I-AM-A-SPAMMER.COM .

It's amazing how all these SPAMMERS, such as myself, who want to advertise their writing services, actually can't write at all! Terrible sentence construction, grammar, and punctuation. A cat jumping up and down on the keyboard would do better!
