Hi all,

I've got a question about guitar sounds. I notice that when I hear some live professional guitarists their guitars sounds scratchy and the high pitch sounds are hard to listen to, especially when repeated. But when I listen to my Guns 'n' Roses albums I love the high pitch guitar sounds. Could this be because when they mix the albums they smooth the sounds out and get rid of the scratchiness?

Analog tape does smooth the high end response out. You could use more brighter guitar sounds without sounding harsh.
