Re: who loves genelec 1031ap speakers?

Personally I never liked them. Had them for years. They lie IMHO.
After I tried the Focal Twins I never looked back.
It was like day and night difference to me.

i was looking for something like, "well, yes, i agree that genelec 1031ap speakers are the best thing ever!"
Why would you want someone to lie about their opinion of a certain type of speaker? If he doesn't like them, then he doesn't like them! He gave his honest opinion about them, so why would you ask him to change that to a lie? Makes no sense.

If you came here hoping to start a fan club for a type of speaker that YOU happen to like, then you are probably in the wrong place.

It also seems rather pointless (not to mention childish) to trash the preferred speaker of someone who doesn't happen to share your opinion, and doesn't want to join your fan club.

By the way, do you happen to work for Genelec?

I haven't been impressed with any Genelec speaker system - I find them to be shrill. They only sound any good in totally dead rooms where the deadness sucks up their over emphasised high end.

Just my opinion.

How childish to go back and delete all your own posts in a thread, just because you got annoyed that real experts on speakers didn't want to join your Genelec fan club!

Whatever...

you guys are drunk when you post, right?

you are certainly obnoxious and unprofessional.

the thread was very obviously light-hearted, not intended to be an opportunity for second rate engineers to express their hatred, or a vehicle for senseless argument.

you complained that the thread was a waste of hosting space. now you are following me around like puppies trying to act like men, complaining that posts were deleted.

judging from your lack of maturity and professionalism, this seems like a very amateurish forum.

i guess that's why there is not a lot of participation.
