Johns Manville Insul Shield supplier (US and Florida)

Post by Teflon »

Johns Manville Insul Shield is an acceptable substitute for OC 703 according to my acoustic engineer. He says in some frequencies it's actually a little better. Anyway, I found a supplier and thought it might be worth sharing: Cemex is a national distributor. For anyone more or less local to Pensacola, FL they have a location on Brent Lane and were very helpful.

I ordered 5 bags of 2" thick unfaced I/S 300 at $79.92 + tax each. Each bag contains nine 24"x48" panels.
