I was hacked - well not me, my two banks and paypal.

I just had to close everything down until was sure all was back to normal

Damn! I >so< never look down this far on the page, I did not know there was an explanation...and a hack!

Jezz John, that is some scary stuff. Have you implemented anything new into your personal system to help combat this type of thing? Further, was it a hack from the Internet or within your Intranet?

according to the email the hacker sent me - 1 of 4, he used code, not a virus. He told me to flush my DNS Cache as that's where he was hiding.

He hacked Paypal and got all my email and bank account numbers - he then transfered from one bank account to another then withdrew from the second account.

Scarey stuff- the bank people reckoned he was working at a level they'd never experienced before.

The bank has replaced the funds.
