Wiring- Lighting

HI All!,

Sorry to start a new thread (I hate when other ppl do that!)
But as you may know I'm running all my electrical wiring myself then having the sparky terminate the boxes and sub panel.

I have completed the GPO runs and now have moved on to Lights.

Q- Do/Can I just run 1 cable to the 3way switch- then 3 runs out to the lights?
Obviously, if the total consumption isn't over 10amp.

Yup! The way you show it in your diagram is fine, technically. But check your local code: there might be a limit to the number of fittings (light sockets) that you can have on one circuit, even if the total load is still in spec. But my guess is that you'll be fine with that. The only down side with that layout is that if the one-and-only single breaker trips, ALL of your lights will go out. It will be daaaaarrrrrkkkkk in there! Are you going to have some kind of emergency lighting unit in there, connected to your lighting circuit? Might be an idea: that way, if the breaker trips, your lights will go out but the emergency unit will then come on automatically, so you'll be able to find your way out of the room....

Lil,
That should work fine
Candles should work if you have a blackout.
