Cutting Neoprene

As someone who has not yet worked with 1/2" 60 duro neoprene, I'm curious how difficult it is to cut. Does a simple utility knife suffice? Essentially I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worth it to pay the upcharge for pre-cut strips, or buy in bulk widths.

Thoughts?

I just finished cutting all the rubber for my floating floor. Cut it all by hand w/ a utility knife. Just make sure you have some extra blades. It cuts farely well, but it's very tidious...

If you've got a band saw, you can use that.

Enjoy!

How 'bout a jig saw? I'll wait and try I guess, solong as I've got the utility knife option to fall back on.

Thanks!

we used the utility knife...not a problem cutting it, but we only had the 1/4.
