Clarification needed on treatment of small rooms

Hi all,
Between this forum and Recording.org I have learned a huge amount of info. One thing that seems to be slightly unique to this forum is John's frequent use of slat resonator panels.
I have a small control room and I am going to be treating with bass traps and ceiling absorbers with Mansville 814 (i.e 703) I am currently using asc tube traps.
Room dimesions (feet and inches)
Length - 13.4
Width - 9.6
Height - 7.9
wood floors
From what I have read, this room is too small for QRD diffusors and I should stick with bass traps in the corners.
Looking at this design on Johns site (control room layout at the bottom) it seems to match my needs but I have one question about it after researching several different posts.

Should I use slat resonators in the front AND rear corners... or should I just use them on the side walls and 4 inches of 703 in the corner with the slat resonators on the side wall. I read in another thread about a small control room that the slat resonators so close to the mix position would be a bad idea.... but in the diagram it seems to show slat resonators in each corner in a small room.
Building things is no problem, I just want to approach this the right way.
any advice welcome!
Thanks Craig
