I welcome Knightfly as Moderator.
I'm pleased to announce that Knightfly will be the new moderator for this forum. Steve has a wide knowledge of acoustics and construction as he has consistently demonstrated at other forums.
He also talks in US lingo :)
I'm very pleased to have Steve join Thomas and myself.
cheers
john

Seriously, I consider it an honor to work with people like John and Thomas, and will do what I can to answer what I can and delegate (pawn off) whatever is really hard (still kidding, but I'm really serious when I need to be, really...)
Anyway, glad to be here and to help any way I can. Ask away, and let's get the embarrassment rolling... :=) Steve

Afterdriving 2000 miles to LA and back, this happened when I finally drove up my driveway and promptly slid backwards. That is how heavy the trailer and car were loaded.
Anyway, my belated congrats Steve. Takes me a while to get to some things.

Hi Steve, yea, that little ole tree promply stopped the slide alright. Hey, you know I wasn't complaining Steve Actually, after we stopped, I busted out laughing, cause we made it. Almost didn't get over Grants Pass. 5 mph in low gear did it. Thought you would get a chuckle. I'll pm you soon with the specs.

I have you all beat... in 96 I was off-road racing with some friends... 81 F350 crewcab long bed, 48" tires, 460 racing engine, zebra paint job, tons of money in the truck. Go flying at a dirt ramp to jump over two 3' high "speed bumps" in one shot... the thing sputters going up the ramp, nose dives, nose hits the the second 3' "bump", flips over lengthwise.
Yes, you read that correctly - LENGTHWISE.
