Warren came to this site back in march 2005. He's been persevering with his construction since then doing a bit each weekend etc.

It's finally come to a finished conclusion

Wow! Don't know how I missed this post! From way back in Feb!

Neat looking studio, too. Bright and airy.

Is that your design, John? :)

Yes Stuart - Warren came onto the forum with this space
basement 2.jpg
we had to move the Jackpost to get the control room space.

Warren built the whole studio himself during weekends etc. It took years, we started in 05 :)

The floor is stained concrete and Warren bought in a concrete cutter to cut the tile shapes before staining it.

Amazing. I'm drooling! I would never have guessed that is concrete. It looks like wood, in the photos! Wow!

And I noticed that ironic little "final touch", that he actually managed to find rugs that closely match your original design, and he positioned them perfectly! :) :shot:

But seriously, to do all that himself and only on weekends is very praiseworthy. I think I just found a new hero. I only hope mine turns out even half as nice as that one.

Major kudos to Warren. Respect.

Great job indeed. Love to have seen a constuction diary.
The ceilingcloud has a nice retro touch :)
