Get your "what mic?" frustration or "have you heard" out here. The language could get real okka in here mate.

Mbox?

Post by Mujachey »

Iam looking into buying a pro tools//m-audio mbox setup, but first I have a couple questions. Can you hook an external mixer up to it? cause the 2 XLR inputs that it has will be no good for me. And also, should I even bother with pro tools and the mbox? Can anyone reccomend some solid setups for home recording that won't break the bank?

You can ONLY use the I/O that comes with whatever M-Box you buy. You can not use any other I/O with PT LE.

I personally do not like PT LE softwear. No doubt PT TDM is the 'Pro' way to go but there are many other DAW options for the budget studio.

Checkout the PT or Logic thread.

Cheers.
