I think I'm going to make my own mic cables using Gotham GAC 3. Having never used a cable with two shields before I wanted to double check this with someone who knows (hopefully you guys, lol).

The wiring diagram says "put screens and green line together" on pin one. When they say screens they mean the grounding/shielding right?

Braid and/or foil (with drain wire) are types of screens. So, Yes.

I figured it was but I learned a long time ago it's better to ask what may be a silly question than to have to do something twice.
