Sorry if I'm a pain....I downloaded REW and installed it. Then opened the manual. Got to the chapter "connections"....they talk about right to left adapters and weird stuff I guess related to home audio and hi-fi, right?
I have a Macbook Pro, a MOTU Ultralite MkIII, the measurement mic I mentioned before, and I also have a Radio Shack 33-4050 analog SPL meter. How do I hook up all this please?

Ok, so I tried setting up REW5 for Mac and honestly, I'm a bit lost.....
I connected the Radio Shack analogue SPL meter to input channel 2 (right) and my speakers to Output channels 1 and 2. When I try to check levels, I read +/- 75dB on the meter (C weighting/Slow) but the levels on the screen are way off. All the controls are disabled (like Wave, etc) and if I want to have a 6dB max difference between In and Out Levels adjusting my soundcard's output level, my speakers sound like they gonna blow!! With the mic, more or less the same happens. I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.
I've taken measurements with Fuzzmeasure. I don't know if they're helpful at all, and also, I can't figure out how to make Fuzzmeasure play the sweep through Both speakers...
Anyway, here it is. Please let me know something soon....

the adapter allows REW to calibrate itself to your soundcard. one channel drives both speakers and one channel drives itself so the application can compensate for the latency and frequency response of the card itself. basically a simple loopback on one channel and then use the other channel to feed one or both speakers. same approach is likely for FM.

at a quick glance, you're about +/- 5db on the overall LF response at the mix position and you can see the ceiling-floor dip at around 75-80hz and a corresponding value at twice that frequency. the second mode might be solved by adding some mass to the back of your cloud and/or shifting its height down a bit.
if you can export the FM file or get the REW working, that would be helpful. if not, can you show the ETC and the waterfall plots?

Thanks for your help cos REW is seriously getting on my nerves. I just had another go, but each time I try to calibrate or measure I get this: "peak impulse is not where it should be. Data may be corrupted. Check impulse with scope blablabla"
Any ideas?

what options does FuzzMeasure have to export the data or save-as?

"save as" let's me save a file like the one I posted. I believe it's FM format.

overall not too shabby... looks like a bit around 180 and 360hz need some love. could you post the ETC (energy time curve (last entry on the impulse response menu)

I'm not sure this is what you asked (Energy Time Curve). I've also added Reverb Time and Waterfall, just in case

it should be OK (and desirable to) have both speakers running as well as the side to side views. i think overall, the mix position you're about +/- 5db which is really nice. at the couch about +/- 8db which is also very good. a bit dry in some of the low mids but not unexpected given the amount of absorption. i think (this time only a couple of pictures please) the log squared impulse response at the mix position. see if any reflections off the clouds or other things need attention. do you have your mix desk installed yet or this is still just empty room?
