How I built my vocal booth (step-by-step w/pics)

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

So if I use my 100W 3-way speakers on Volume level 25 (out of 31) outside a vocal booth like this I will be able to cleanly hear only myself and BARELY any outside noise?

Hi there,
Well, if you're tracking your own vocals then the control room speakers wouldn't need to be on anyway, so you'd be fine. If you're tracking another vocalist with you as the engineer, you could monitor through headphones during vocal tracking, then mix on the speakers of course.
