Yup; I suspected as much, which is why I asked the question
Take a closer look at any of the plans John has drawn for members in the Design forum, and see which way the walls slant - there's a very good reason for this (just wish I could remember what it was
)
Maybe you can tell US, so we can see if you're paying attention
If not, don't be embarrassed to ask; this stuff is ALL greek (unless you happen to SPEAK Greek, that is) until you've been around it for a while...
And nobody here bites, or maybe just an occasional "nibble", we're just here to learn and maybe have a bit of fun... Steve

Man, I'm sorry to hear that; in that case, if you can have a friend hold a fairly large mirror against the wall while you sit at the desk, have the friend move the mirror around the room (along the walls about half-way between you and the speaker locations) and place fairly thick mineral wool absorbent (like at least 3 inch thick, mounted with at least 3 inch air gap behind - 4" and 4" would be better in this case) mounted anywhere you can see either speaker in the mirror.
These treatments should be fairly good sized, like at least 3 feet by 3 feet (1 meter square) or larger.
If this messes up visual lines, you can make these treatments portable and only use them during mixdowns.
The ceiling, unless it slopes upward to the rear a LOT, will ALSO need this type treatment at first reflection points - typically a 4' x 6' 91.5 x 2 meter) "cloud" centered side to side and halfway between speakers and your head, is what works.
I hope this helps; I wasn't trying to make you feel bad, I had no idea you'd already built; the good news is, your wall angles will still eliminate flutter between side walls; also, it takes more of an angle than that to accomplish Reflection-Free Zone anyway, so you STILL would have needed similar treatments on the side walls... the room in it self sounds very ballanced at the moment. I would have to post some pictures and sketches for you to understand how I´ve treated the room. I´ll try to post some pictures soon.
anyways, I´m gratefull for all your feedback and you did not make me feel bad, because I have a quite good feeling about how the room is turning out.
