As far as capacitance, what's a reasonable value per foot for quality cable?
Standard high quality mic cable is around 25 pf/ft. With the distances you wrote earlier (50 and 10 feet) standard high quality mic cable is fine.

Didn't see much to argue with there - again, if you have much in the way of NON-balanced, Pro-sumer gear I'd worry more about capacitance - otherwise, if you have a LOT of wiring to do I'd shop more for ease of termination and noise immunity (star quad type wires for the latter, foil shields (with drain wire) for the former, and work really hard to avoid any ground loops (telescoping shields, star grounding, etc )

Hi, i saw this gepco wire spec: 11-21 pF/ft

so far it's the lowest capacitance aes wire i can find...
