Designing Drum Room / Studio

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Here is my newest design with an inside out ceiling. I also made the room about 1 foot wider and 2 feet longer. If it looks good, I'll start working on getting a permit so I can begin the build.
