Just for curiosity..
How many it cost to adapt and isolate the studio?
It's just awesome

hi Meshuggah
I don`t think that it is usefull to talk about costs, since you are in Mexico, and germany is different from material costs, codes........
All i can say: this is a small private studio, and i build it alone with my own hands, without help form "friends" and without money from the bank.
The good news, it is all payed, and i can pay the monthly bills for the studio, even with no clients. That was important for my, and is the reason why you can`t find much high end gear, just what i realy need to mix and record quality vocals.
The Idea was to have best acoustics first , and gear can follow when buissens is good.

It is just the beginning, but i will spend about 10k to 20k in equipment unteil end of this year.
It depends on how buisness is going, but it looks quite good until now.
next toy, will be a Tubetech CL1B, Protools 9 and some more mics.
Here are some pics of some of the current avalible toys in Mikas Mietshaus:

the base is some styrofoam with some special 5mm coating to ad mass.
The diffusor is designed to let enough bass pass to the important basstrapping behind it.
