This is my first post on this forum, and I would like to say that this is a perfect forum for people like myself who knows some about music, but not so much about room acoustics!
I write music for Radio & Tv, and have a home studio in my bedroom, but I´m not satisfied with the sound in there.
From the concrete walls and ceiling, I get a "cold" and nasty sound in higher freq. in vocals and acoustic guitars.
(It´s pretty high up to the ceiling..)
I have tried these calculators, but I´m not really good at it

(I have some furnitures in my room that makes it hard for me to figure out what I need.)
I have bought new small speakers(A.D.A.M P-11) so that I don´t get to much bass in the room, but I suspect if iI treat the ceiling, and walls with high to mid freq. absorbers, I might need some bass traps anyway?
(I have a big bed in the room, does this dampen the bass?)
What Should I buy/or build)?
And where should I put it?
If anyone can help me with this, I would be even more happy then I am now..
