Tannoy 15 DMT

Are the DMT's originally designed to be flush mounted?

I have mine on stands in a room that is far too small for them now.

When I move to a larger studio I'm thinking of sofit mounting them.

Any suggestions, criticisms, or theories?

If you do a seach on the net for DMT115's you come up with two sites, one of em being this questions on this forum

I believe the reason I'm having this conversation with myself is because no one out there knows much about Tannoys?

I found more info if I searched for DMT 15!!!

All the DMT215's I see in studios are soffit mounted. I'm assuming the DMT 15's will be best soffit mounted too?

They are great speakers as they are. I imagine if I soffit mount them correctly they will be 'bloody awesome', as we would say in Australia?

Drum,
I have Tannoys and love them. They are the Protojs however.
Great sounding and have no issues with them free standing or flush mounted.
Most people will tell you what ever speakers you flush mount with Johns flush mount design you will have an added bass response. But I also have a bass sub woofer. I had the same issue but have compensated with a low pass filter on my outputs. Once tuned to the room I love them like the day I purchased them.
