Hi Guys,

I’ve been hanging around this site for some time now soaking up the great advice and info so I though it about time I registered.
I’ve been playing for the past 20 years in local rock bands and although my recording skills are not as good as I’d like them to be I’m progressing this area.
I’ve recently set up a local youth music project which is getting some of our challenging kids into music as a diversion from crime and anti social behaviour. I’ve managed to record some of their work (mainly Rap) and produced some fairly “raw” CD’s for them.
I’m now looking at designing and building my first home studio and will be posting info shortly. I’ve studied quite a lot of material on the design and construction site and have purchased Rod Gervais’s book which I have read through several times, so now its time to bite the bullet and get on with it.
