Hi -
My construction is progressing past framing these days and I'm on to the electrical work. I'm hopefully having conduit put in for this next week. I have separate runs planned for the power (down low) and then the media/audio up high.
Most all standard new construction outlet boxes have either pre-set nails or screw holes for mounting to the frame. They are too shallow for the 1 1/4'' on the wall with 2 layers of 5/8 wall board.
How do most manage this.
I've spent some time in the past two days trying to find examples of this, but most build threads either don't have the layers of drywall or don't discuss it in detail.
I'll be hanging with folks who routinely work in construction this evening so I'll ask for ideas, but I'm of course interested in this industry expertise.

Very Simple: 2 Layer of 5/8 and Outlet Box Depth
