Substitue for Mason Industries WIC clips

Find out where to get building materials in your local area. If you find a good outlet post it and others will be able to access it through the search engine.

Substitue for Mason Industries WIC clips

Post by frequentseas »

Hi all:

I got a quote from Tecoustics (www.tecoustics.com) in Oakville, Ontario for WIC isolation clips at 15.00$ a piece.

Since I require approximately 35 of these, I was wondering, has anyone had found a cheaper alternative?

Just wondering if anyone has found a cheaper source for the WIC clips. I've only been able to find them for around $15-$20 a piece or so. I noticed in this thread where someone found them for $9.

I was thinking of using the DC04 clips from PAC instead, which are less expensive, but they don't seem to have specs on capacity etc. when used as a sway brace on their site to make a comparison. Thanks for any help!
