Hey all,
I am just getting ready to wire up a few Audio Accessories TT patchbays for my studio and I have a couple of questions. First what kind of wire is recommended for the normalling contacts? I have seen what looks to be like twisted pair for phones being used for this. Would this wire be ok? Or should I just use the cabling that I am using for the rest of my install?
Second question is what kinds of "Features" should I put into this patchbay? I am planning on some pads, mults, and phase rev. Any tips, advice, words of caution etc. would be of great help.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave.
I don't know what your setup is, but I'd have all your inserts (Send/Return), Tie Lines (for outboard), Multi-track send/return, Mic &/or Line inputs depending on your setup, and a few others.
Either you can use the same cabling, or use console wire. To stay consistant, I'd probably use the same wire (eg: Mogami).First what kind of wire is recommended for the normalling contacts?
