Still looking for a good layout

Post by cfuehrer »

Here is what I am faced with for my studio space. The main enterance is on the angled wall. There is a 2' support pillar I have to work around. Total space is 975 sq ft.

What I want is a nice big (for the space) live room, preferablly up at the top and left since there are no pipes running along the ceiling there. A comfortable control room with the rack bay right behind the mix position, maybe like 15'x15' or a little shorter. I have basicly give up on the idea of having a couch in the back behind the rack since it will be tight fit. A 6'x6' iso/vocal room. A storage area about 6'x5' or a little smaller if need be, but somewhat accessable to the live room. And the only other requirement is at least a 6'x8' office space.

I have been wrestling for days with layouts to maximize spaces and fit it all in hoping for a large live room and control room. I am beyond frustration and need help.
Peace,
