Basic Studio Design

Post by trikac »

Hi, I need to know what the basic and most cheapest supplies I am going to need to build my studio. My studio will probably be 15' x 10'. The music I do is hip hop so what is the cheapest type of floor I should get? What all do I need for my vocal booth? I know this is very general but please give me some idea's on what I need and how to build it. Thanks

Trika - please do a search on this site for those questions - they've been answered many times and demonstrated in the Studios under Construction forum.;)

It would also be good for you to go through the Recording Studio Design manual that can be found as a link on John's home page. It is one of the best overall design and theory of design manuals I have found, and it is available courtesy of John Sayers and SAE for free.
