Post by Niccie »

Hi John, i've recently seen some plans you've made to some of the forum members and i've noticed this one particular cos it looks almost like mine, chek it http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewt ... 19d7a8ab39

Ok now i have this drawing of my room attached to this post, and my qestion is can i go the same way? if not, is there any disposition that lets me have a Control room, and one or two booth rooms?, please i'll be really hoping for an answer. i'm stuck with this project for about 6 months and nothing seems to be good enough to do.
Please help !!!

Big THANK YOU in advance.

Hello John, i really apreciate your help with it, I'm glad you actually answered, i thought that maybe you have left the forum, but here you are and i thank you.
Well as you asked, the positions are:
1- door in the up side of the draw is at 1,50meters from the left upper corner.
2- door on the lower right corner is attached to the side wall, and the window that follows down, is 0,20 meters from wall/door.
3- both doors are important one leads from the living room and the other (down right corner) leads to the bathroom attached.(if is really really imperative to get rid of one door i'll go for the down right corner door, but just if it's really necessary.
Windows are not important at all, in fact the big one at the left side is already blinded with fiberglass and sealed.
Well, i hope it helps, i will start the job with your advise.Thank you!!

PS:my english is a li'l bit crappy, sorry about that.

Hi john, i got one more question.
Will it be ok to record the drumset in the control room? or/and use my piano in there? cos the booth space is too short to put all the stuff, That was the reason i considered the floorplans linked, That way it leave more room for stuff, this is more like just a vocal booth.

I don't know, maybe i can use the CR too, what do you think about doing it?

Best regards.( i don't really know what this means but it feels like a greeting or something, right?)

Niccie.

Hi there, just came to say that i started working, it took a while cos i was studying hard to take some final exams, done that, sso now i have time again to work in the project.
Well the division is half set, meaning i have mounted one side of the double false wall, filled with fiberglass or is it glassfiber, anyway, i started the second one yesterday, but i have to buy more platewood (or something) to attach the side facing the other half false wall.
That reminds me i have to post some pics as soon as i can, so i can show the framing work.
well that's all by now, more to come.

PS: my english still sux sorry.

i have a question.

I dont have main monitors, i just have nearfields so i was thinking if i can avoid doing the whole wood thing that goes behind the desk ang go only with the shape that is left by making that wall, covering with isolation and wood.
Or i need to do the angled sides anyway.

I hope i explain it undesrstandable.

Regards.
