I'M A MUSICIAN/ARCHITECT/ENGINEERING TYPE PERSON. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD ACOUSTICAL DESIGN OFFICES LOOKING FOR HELP?

im actually looking for a job with an acoustical office.

are there any liscensed arch. or engineers working there?

i dont know that i can be that picky.
im in the US right now, but would consider moving if the right thing came along.

Do you have any DIRECT experience in this field?

If not, you're going to have an extremely tough time finding a job.

Most of the very small number of entry level positions that open up in this field are immediately snatched up by graduates from Penn State, and a couple of other schools, who hold Masters and PhDs in Architectural Acoustics or Acoustical Engineering.

i have a degrees in arch., structural eng, math. i have been a musician all my life. i took all available acoustics courses, and currently i am working toward liscensure in arch. and eng. .

i actually live in the middle of the US, where there are NO acoustical consultants of any kind.

Yeah! If there's any others in your area who are musicians interested in building a home studio, then you're in on the ground floor for your own consulting/design service! Go for it!
