Hi,
One question. According to your experience, what is the minimum size for a drum room, which is not too cramped, but still sounding good, hopely I still could use those ambient mics on the room.
My maximum size is approximately 3m x 4m, but if it's not enough, I have to redesign the whole space, so I got bigger room for drums.

Hey Boleng,
I think 3X4 is more than enough to set up a drum kit....couldn't tell you much about how it's gonna sound...
If you're after the "live drum sound", why not just record drums in your main studio (you're having one right??)...and just do a small "dead booth" for the dead sound in case you want it....in that case you wouldn't have to worry about the dimensions v sound quality issues for the booth, and drums would sound good in the main studio (if you treat it well)
hope it helps...
