Monitor Basics

Post by Thatoneguy »

I am a about two weeks away from purchasing a set of Behringer Truth B-2301A monitors. I've heard that these monitors are pretty great for the price range. Either way, I'm excited to get them in my home, but I am a little hesitant to throw them into the mix. Here is my problem.

I have a 12' x 12' room. I have limited space and the speakers can only go in one spot. In a corner of the room. That's where the mixer, computer is, etc. I can't move it. So I'm worried about flutter echo and bounce-back reflections. Where are a few good sources of reading up to do that I can read about some techniques to get the BEST out of monitors in a tight spot. Since I can't move them anywhere else.

I have a pair and they can produce very loud SPLs.
For the moneY you can't beat them.
