Three leaf problem, again

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Yes, Steve.

What I meant was that a vibrating second floor means that the whole structure could be vibrating. And as vibrating constructions (walls roof) emit sound, you would have to be sure that floating the floor is sufficient to make things better.
Else you have to create a box-in-a-box like Paul did. In this case that would probably be a ridiculous enterprise, IMHO.
