1 leg or 2 leg resilient channel?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

I called this place that has 1 leg and 2 leg 20 gage 12' foot resilient channel, I was wondering which one do I need 1 or 2 leg for a garage studio conversion?

Hi lost,
I think there was a similar thread around here in the last couple of days..?Or maybe some other forum.Anyway, I think you would need the 1 leg channel.
